Recently I had an antique grandfather clock shipped to me in NJ from Palm Desert. The clock is an antique and valuable in a financial and personal way Steve (the owner) packed it in a container that they made. It arrived here safe and sound and is running I know they had ton spend time dismantling the works and creating a large crate. It was double crated and we are so happy with the job they did.

I recently used Desert Freight to ship a few pieces of fragile antique furniture from the desert to Illinois. I was very pleased with Steve and the level of service I received, from the initial quote to delivery. Look no further! I tried to ship an outsize 16 foot long package!!!, on an Internet freight bidding service, and eventually picked the low bid, and thought I had a deal…well a January shipment ended up not going out…three times! I felt I had nowhere to go and was completely out of my element. My business ships many odd things, but due to the size and weight and having to do the truck shipping, I was in the clutches of bad Internet business people. I googled and called Steve in Palm Desert at the end of my rope at 12:30pm. By 2:00pm he was here in HIS OWN truck, had a better crate design than I had built and then called me to tell me it was leaving the valley at 4:00pm. A Simply Amazing person. The cost was incidentally about 40 percent more than that wild low ball internet bid, but to deal with a reliable person, and someone that shows immediately and handles simply everything is worth far more than he asked. Steve is my single local go to guy for big parcel shipping, and will handle things from now on. My attempt to save a little money and deal with a non sched shipper cost me time and some money, but needlessly damaged my reputation. That I cant get back with my buyer perhaps, but I have learned a lesson and found a great business owner. If you are looking to ship something, please consider calling this person and business FIRST. I had a crate shipped from Honolulu To Flagstaff AZ. Steve did what he said he would do and answered his phone every time I called. That in itself was golden. His price beat everyone else too! I would use him again without hesitation.
